Mai Agan (born 5 May 1988) is an Estonian bass guitarist and composer. She has graduated from Georg Ots Tallinn Music School (2010), Skurups Folkhögskola (2011), The Royal College of Music in Stockholm (2014) and at the moment she is doing her master's degree in Stockholm. Agan is mostly known for her work with Estonian pop sensation Kerli, Swedish singer-songwriter Linnea Henriksson and her own jazz-fusion group MaiGroup that she formed in 2010. MaiGroup has released two studio albums: "Luv" (2013) and "You" (2015) consisting of original compositions written, arranged and produced by Agan. In 2012 she joined Aces of Basses led by Raul Vaigla. In november 2013 she was in Turin, Italy, recording with Alessia Mattalia. She has also collaborated with Håkan Broström, Anders Widmark, Carola Häggkvist, Tõnis Mägi, Tiit Paulus, Riho Sibul, Jaak Johanson, Ain Agan, Doug Seegers, Magnus Lindgren, Stockholm Strings, Norrbotten Big Band among others.
